The Offgrid Rain is similar to the Offgrid Explorer and comes with LED UV-C which enables you to filter rain water, river or lake water. We've laboratory tested it with dirty old rain butts and the results have been fantastic!
It can be provided in either 12v or 220v (let us know at checkout) and but it's perfect for cleaner water and will remove bacteria and viruses using a combination of ultra filtration and LED sterilisation.
The UV light only activates when water flow is detected and the pump option has a pressure switch. As it's LED, you don't need to warm the UV up either - it sterilises within seconds. The Offgrid Rain can be configured so you have different filter types to suit different requirements (nitrate removal, for instance).

Note that we cannot guarantee output quality of water as there are many variables out of our control such as differing contaminants in source water and maintenance of the system. High soluble iron content for instance may need a specific iron filter. What we do know is that for rainwater and many other water sources, this system gets them to drinking water standards. We recommend conducting laboratory tests (which we can supply). Also note that you may need an accumulator tank if used to directly supply a property to ensure even flow. It should go between the pump and the first filter.
